Dear Alumni,

Updates to Alumni from the College Management
(March 2023)

College Operation
With the lifting of most anti-epidemic measures by the Government earlier, our daily
life has been steadily returning to normality. We are grateful that all teaching and
learning activities have been running smoothly as scheduled, and the 2nd semester is
halfway through already. The renovation work was carried out as scheduled. Room
G02 is now used for lectures and the ITSO has been relocated to Room 306.

Student Activities
Positive feedback has been received on the variety of student activities organized this
year. Whether students are looking for recreation, leisure, development or service
learning, there are options to suit their needs. Besides, we had students of the Higher
Diploma in Social Work Programme sharing their “College Life in GCC” in the January
College Assembly. In the February one, guest speaker, Prof Anthony H Y Wan,
delivered an inspiring talk on the topic of “有學無類”.

Calling For Support
You may wish to note that after 7 years of operation, GCC has successfully developed
a total of 11 accredited learning programmes for secondary school leavers to pursue
higher education at different study levels. The subject areas include Social Work,
Psychology, Service Management, Christian Ministry, Early Childhood Education, and
Property and Facilities Management. Options of part-time study and senior year entry
are available for some programmes to meet the needs of working adults. As a Gratian
with prior study experience at GCC, you will be our best partner to help promote the
programmes of your alma mater to potential students. Visit the College website if you
need more information.

With the scrapping of the Covid mask rule, we look forward to the opportunity of
greeting you and sharing the updates on campus in person.2

With best wishes,
College Management
